REPORT A HUMMINGBIRD SIGHTING ON THE HUMMINGBIRD MIGRATION MAP
The hummingbird migration will be posted daily. In addition, all sightings throughout the summer will be posted as well. This will give everyone a good indication of where the hummingbirds travel to, and how far north they move. If you spot a Hummingbird anywhere in Canada or North America, then report it on this website. It doesn't matter if it's a Ruby-throat, Rufous, Calliope, Black Chinned, Anna's or a rare species of hummingbird. All of the reported sightings will be posted as soon as possible. Report your hummingbird sightings and it will be posted on the hummingbird migration map.

There are a few exceptions for these dates. These dates are for the Ruby-throated hummingbird and there are up to 5 species which visit Canada, specifically British Columbia. British Columbia has a much warmer climate earlier in the season and therefore they get up to 4 other species visiting as early as February. The departure times, however, are a little closer in line with the remainder of Canada.
